Lynn Davis grew up in a union household with both her father and grandfather as long-time members of the United Auto Workers. She was the first in her family to go to college and graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in Latin, then obtained an M.S. in mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. After a stint of high school and college teaching, she settled in at the Blue Ash campus where she taught computer science and networking courses in addition to mathematics, while making her way to the rank of Professor. Lynn has a strong commitment to shared governance and was recognized in 2007 with the Faculty Senate’s University Service Award. She regularly conducts workshops on contract education and shared governance issues.
Lynn continues to drive her American-made Ford Taurus.
