Executive Council 2012 Elections

SCHEDULE & NOMINATIONS PROCESS

Nominations for the following positions on the AAUP-UC Chapter Executive Council will open on Tuesday, January 3, 2012: 

All terms of office are from April 2012 - March 2014. 

Any two Chapter members in good standing may make a nomination to an open position by completing a nomination form and submitting it to us, the Chapter's trustees, at the Chapter office (450 Dabney Hall, ML 0176).  (We would appreciate it if you would ensure that the person you are nominating will accept the nomination before sending us the form.)

DEADLINES & IMPORTANT DATES

  • Tuesday, January 3, 2012 - nominations period opens
  • Monday, February 6, 2012 at 12 noon - initial round of nominations close
  • Tuesday, February 7, 2012 - initial round of nominees announced by 4 pm
  • Monday, February 20, 2012 - final nominations due at 12 noon (candidates statements released shortly thereafter)
  • Friday, February 24, 2012 - electronic balloting begins at 6 am
  • Monday, March 12, 2012 - balloting closes at 12 noon (results announced later that day)
  • Monday, March 28, 2012 - new officers take office

As with prior elections, you will receive an email from BallotBox with a link to your anonymous ballot.  The reults of the election will be anounced that day.
