Spring 2010 Executive Council Elections
Nomination Process
Any two Chapter members in good standing
may nominate someone to an open position by completing a
nomination form and sending to the Chapter’s trustees, c/o
the AAUP office (450 Dabney Hall, ML 0176).
We would
appreciate it if you would make sure the person you are nominating will accept
the nomination before sending in the form.
The results of deliberations by our Chapter leaders is
even more important than usual this spring, given that we'll
be going into contract negotiations. Please consider
carefully and encourage any colleague whom you feel would be
a good candidate to run for office -- including yourself!

Last year we utilized the services of BallotBox, a company
that provides a third-party monitored, secured balloting
system. We were pleased with their performance last year in
conducting the Executive Council elections, and so will be
using that company again this spring. You will receive
instructions on completing your electronic ballot in
late February.
